Glasgow Rangers are looking to bring Ruben Micael to Ibrox in January.
According to a report in the Daily Record, Glasgow Rangers are lining up a bid for Ruben Micael in January.
Micael is currently playing for Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in China, and he is thought to be available for transfer.
Shijiazhuang were relegated last season, meaning that they no longer have the funds required to keep hold of Micael.
And Rangers boss Mark Warburton wants to take advantage and bring the Portuguese midfielder to Ibrox.
Rangers are known to be on the look out for a midfielder in January, and Warburton wants to add more experience.
With Joey Barton leaving Ibrox, and Niko Kranjcar out injured – Rangers are short of experience in the middle of the field.
And it is thought that Micael is a name on Rangers’ transfer wishlist for the upcoming transfer window.
The Daily Record also suggests that Rangers are looking at Jota, Diego Fabbrini and Joao Teixiera, as Warburton draws up a comprehensive list of targets.
