Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are set to be active in the summer transfer window.

According to the Scottish Sun, Glasgow Rangers are keen to sign Kenny McLean from Aberdeen in the summer.

Pedro Caixinha has only been at Rangers for a matter of weeks, but he is already scouring the market for players who he could bring to Ibrox.

And McLean is said to be at the top of Caixinha’s wishlist to bring in at Rangers.

Aberdeen are understood to be keen to keep hold of McLean, and will demand over £1 million if they are consider selling.

However, Rangers are said not to be baulking at that price tag, as they feel the midfielder could be a worthwhile investment.

McLean actually began his career at Rangers, but he was released by the Ibrox side as a youngster.

McLean has just over a year left on his contract at Aberdeen, which puts Rangers in a position of power if they do make a bid.

Rangers are also said to be looking at Ryan Jack and Graham Dorrans, as Caixinha aims to improve the Glasgow side’s squad for next season.
