Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers appear to be closing on Joe Aribo, with Steven Gerrard keen.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants to bring Aribo to Ibrox, but may face an anxious wait to find out whether the Charlton man will be joining.
Bowyer does not want to allow Aribo to join Rangers without putting up a fight.
The playmaker was Charlton’s star player last season, as they earned promotion, and Bowyer is desperate to keep him.
Aribo’s contract expires in just over a week’s time, and he is expected to move to Rangers.

However, the youngster is set to hold a meeting with Boywer on Friday and is said to be willing to listen to the Charlton boss’s plea for him to stay.
Whether Aribo’s head could be turned away from a move to Rangers remains to be seen, but it it said to be unlikely that will be the case.
If Aribo does arrive at Rangers it could be a great news for the Gers, as he would boost Gerrard’s side’s creative options for next term.
