Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are rapidly making additions this month to improve Steven Gerrard’s squad.

According to the Glasgow Evening Times, Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers side are making big moves in the transfer window.

Rangers are set to snap up both Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis from Bournemouth and Southampton respectively, but even more new faces are set to arrive at Ibrox today.

Gerrard has made no secret for his desire to bring new players to Rangers, and four signings could be sealed within a matter of days of the transfer window opening.

Glen Kamara of Dundee and Jordan Jones of Kilmarnock have both been targeted by Rangers and the pair are set to take medicals with Gerrard’s side today.

Kamara and Jones are both set to join Rangers on free transfers at the end of the season, when their contract expire.

Although the pair won’t be brought in at Ibrox this term, the moves are highly significant.

Kamara and Jones are considered two of the top talents in Scotland and by landing them Rangers are starting to flex their considerable power in the market, with Gerrard’s side making some very exciting transfer moves.
