Preston North End are hoping to tie up a deal for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers pair James Tavernier and Rob Kiernan.
According to a report in the Scottish Sun, Preston North End are trying to sign James Tavernier and Rob Kiernan from Glasgow Rangers this summer.
Pedro Caixinha has confirmed that Rangers could sell 14 members of their first-team squad in the coming weeks, as he rings the changes at Ibrox.
And it is believed that Tavernier and Kiernan could be two of the squad members who depart Glasgow.

Preston are hopeful of doing a double deal with Rangers for the defensive pair, with Simon Grayson wanting to add to his options at Deepdale.
Kiernan’s future at Rangers is in more doubt than Tavernier’s currently, as the centre-back struggled last campaign.
Kiernan lost a lot of support at Ibrox last term, and is widely expected to be moved on this summer.

Tavernier, on the other hand, played a fairly important role under both Mark Warburton and Caixinha last term.
However, with Rangers plotting more new additions, Preston are hoping that Caixinha may be open to doing a deal for the attacking full-back.
