Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been keen on Liverpool’s Ryan Kent all summer, but Leeds United are winning the race currently.

Rangers have been keen on Kent all summer, after he enjoyed a brilliant loan spell at Ibrox last term.
However, Steven Gerrard suggested that a deal for the Liverpool winger was dead in the water, when Jurgen Klopp suggested that he wouldn’t loan him out.
Leeds are now leading the race for the Rangers target, but all hope is not yet dead.
The Mail claim that Rangers are waiting to pounce if Leeds fail to get a deal over the line.
Rangers would only be able to take Kent on loan, as they cannot finance a permanent deal, but that may be Liverpool’s only option after today, if Leeds cannot get a deal over the line.

The English transfer window closes this evening, but Scotland’s stays open until the end of the month, which puts Rangers at an advantage.
If Kent was to return to Rangers it would be a huge boost to Gerrard’s side, as he was such a key source of creativity for them last term.
