Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has reportedly personally scouted Charlton Athletic defender Ezri Konsa.
According to London News Online, Glasgow Celtic are interested in signing Ezri Konsa from Charlton Athletic.
Rodgers attended Charlton’s match against Swindon Town at the weekend, which was won 3-0 by the Robins, to see Konsa’s talents first-hand.
Unfortunately for the Celtic boss, Konsa did not play for Charlton during the contest, as he was kept on the substitutes’ bench.
Rodgers’ son, Anton, did come on for Swindon in the final stages though, so it was not an entirely wasted trip.

Konsa has played fairly regularly for the Addicks so far this season, after making 12 appearances.
The 19-year-old has generally impressed for Charlton, despite his tender years.
Celtic are set to spend in January, with Rodgers keen to strengthen his squad even further after a good start to the campaign.

Celtic are still unbeaten in domestic action so far this term, but Rodgers is eager to add more players who he can develop.
Celtic have already had success buying from the Football League this season, after bringing in Moussa Dembele from Fulham during the summer transfer window.
If Konsa does move to Celtic he would be in competition with the likes of Erik Sviatchenko, Jozo Simunovic and Kolo Toure for a first-team place.
