Celtic are said to be interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion’s Dale Stephens.
According to a report in the Daily Express, Glasgow Celtic are interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Dale Stephens.
Stephens is out of contract at the end of the season, and Brighton have still not tied the midfielder down to a new deal.
As a result, Celtic can speak to Stephens in January – and they are hopeful of getting a deal done at a cut price.

The 26-year-old is said to be high up on Rodgers’ transfer wishlist, as he looks to strengthen his Celtic squad.
The Bhoys are believed to have money to spend in the new year, with Rodgers determined to bring in further quality.
Celtic looked to the English market for additions last summer – and the impact that the likes of Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair has made, has convinced Rodgers to try to bring more players in from south of the border.

Brighton are believed to want to keep hold of Stephens, but their bargaining position is weak, due to the midfielder’s contract situation.
Burnley are also said to be interested in Stephens, with Sean Dyche’s side said to be likely to make a bid in January.
