Borussia Monchengladbach are considering a fresh approach to sign West Ham United’s Reece Oxford on a permanent basis, according to Sky Sports (November 20th, 17:09).
Oxford spent last season on loan to the Bundesliga side, for whom he made eight appearances.
The broadcaster reports that West Ham turned down a £13 million offer from Gladbach as recently as January.
And having failed to make use of the teenage defender-cum-defensive-midfielder since his return to east London, the Hammers will be lucky to attract bids as high as that this time around.
Oxford burst onto the scene shortly before his 17th birthday in late 2015, and has played 17 times for the Hammers in total.
Sky Sports notes that Manchester United, Manchester City and RB Leipzig have each held an interest in the England Under-20 international, whose contract has three-and-a-half-years left to run, at one stage or another.
