Tottenham Hotspur’s Kyle Walker has been linked with a move to Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
According to The London Evening Standard, City are interested in signing the England international and are willing to double Walker’s weekly salary of £70,000.
The Times has claimed that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy values the right-back at £50 million.
The Express has now reported that City manager Pep Guardiola is close to securing the services of Walker in the summer.

“Guardiola is close to persuading Tottenham to sell him England right-back Walker in a deal which would cost him close to £40million,” states the report in The Express.
“Walker is believed to be unsettled at White Hart Lane and City are ready to double his £70,000-a-week wages to lure him back to the north.
“And Spurs are willing to do business especially as Mauricio Pochettino see’s Kieran Trippier as his first-choice right back.”
It seems that Tottenham are willing to let go of Walker, who is one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and has progressed well over the past three or so years.
Kieran Trippier is the second-choice right-back at Tottenham at the moment, but the 26-year-old is a very good player, and he would be able to step up if Walker leaves.
If Spurs can get £40m for Walker, then they should not hesitate to sell him to City.
