Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants to keep Ross McCrorie at Ibrox this season, but interest is building in the midfielder, according to the Glasgow Evening Times.
McCrorie is wanted by Hibernian and Portsmouth, with the pair considering moves for the Rangers man.
Rangers loaned McCrorie out last term, and that may be a compromise met again with the 22-year-old this summer.
However, both Portsmouth and Hibs are said to want him on a permanent deal.
Ideally Rangers would like to keep McCrorie as part of their squad next season.

However, the youngster’s future is now far from certain, with so many clubs chasing him.
McCrorie was not actually in Rangers’ match day squad for their opening fixture of the season against Aberdeen.
Rangers are under no pressure to sell him though, as he still has two years left on his current deal, so it could take a sizeable fee to take the versatile player away from Ibrox.
