Glasgow Rangers captain Lee Wallace’s Ibrox future looks set to be discussed in the coming days.

As reported by the Record, Wallace’s Rangers future appears to be very uncertain as the fallout continues following the events immediately after the Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic in April.

From a playing perspective, it would perhaps be a blow to lose Wallace this summer given the experience and versatility that he would give Gerrard’s side if he was handed another chance in the team.

Not only could the former Hearts man hand Declan John will some real competition, but he could also add some much-needed depth to their options in the middle of the back four.
The Record reports that Connor Goldson is set to complete his move to Ibrox in the coming days, but Gerrard still needs to add more bodies in that area of the pitch with the likes of David Bates and Danny Wilson both departing since the turn of the year.
