Rangers continue to be linked with bringing striker Karlan Grant to Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard abandoned his plans to watch Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Grant on Saturday – but did have him scouted anyway.
The Gers were linked with a move to sign Grant earlier in the week, having been impressed with his displays for the Addicks this season.
Boss Gerrard subsequently requested directors’ box tickets at The Valley to watch Grant in action against Accrington Stanley, before being forced to scrap those plans.
Instead, it’s claimed that Gerrard sent somebody in his place to watch Grant – and they will have seen him step up to score a last-minute penalty to win the game 1-0.
Grant, 21, scored his 14th goal of the season in just 28 appearances, hitting that famously desired strike rate of one goal ever two games.
Charlton have nurtured Grant through their academy, but may now lose him as his contract expires at the end of the season.

Rangers are hoping to swoop in with a pre-contract agreement, much like they have with Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara and Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones.
As Grant is under 23, compensation would be required, but cross-border contract rules mean that Rangers – as a non-English club – would be able to sign Grant for minimal compensation.
That is understandably appealing to Rangers, who may well need to eye strikers as potential replacements fro Alfredo Morelos this coming summer.
