There have been meetings and talks for two weeks, and in the end, Ugarte, described as “a genius” by his Sporting teammate Pedro Goncalves on Instagram, has decided to move to Chelsea, according to the Portuguese publication.
Record have added that Ugarte will undergo his medical at Chelsea next week.

Exciting Manuel Ugarte update for Chelsea fans
In our view, that Manuel Ugarte has decided to move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window is very exciting and encouraging for the Stamford Bridge faithful.
Paris Saint-Germain are a massive club, win the Ligue 1 title regularly, and compete in the UEFA Champions League on a regular basis.
So, to snub PSG for Chelsea, who will not play in Europe and may not even challenge for the Premier League title next season, is massive for the Blues.
There have also been reports that Liverpool and Newcastle United are keen on Ugarte.
But it appears that Chelsea have won the race for the Uruguayan star.
