According to a report in the Nottingham Post, Gboly Ariyibi is set to leave Nottingham Forest in the near future.

Ariyibi had been on loan at MK Dons, but his temporary move was cancelled ahead of time.

The 23-year-old right winger made 22 League One appearances, and managed to score on three occasions, but MK Dons decided against keeping him for the whole season.

Ariyibi has been training with Forest again for the past few days, but Aitor Karanka has not seen enough to put him into the Reds’ first-team.

The youngster is now set to be sent packing again, as Forest want to loan him out.

A clutch of League One sides are chasing Ariyibi, and Karanka will not stand in the winger’s way, as he looks to get first-team football.

Forest are looking for additions of their own, and their transfer plans may block Ariyibi’s route back into the first-team.

Karnanka is yet to make an addition at Forest, but he is believed to have money to spend at the City Ground.
