Derby County attacker Andreas Weimann is reportedly set to join Wolves permanently.

According to The Mirror, Wolverhampton Wanderers are poised to activate a £1.5million permanent option on Derby County attacker Andreas Weimann.
Weimann had started just one Championship game for Derby this season, and it was no surprise when the Rams chose to loan the Austrian out in January.
Weimann worked under Paul Lambert at Aston Villa, and the now-Wolves boss moved to reunite with the 25-year-old, snapping him up on loan until the end of the season.
So far, Weimann has notched three goals and two assists in 19 appearances for Wolves, and it seems that he has done enough to convince Lambert into making the move permanent.
The Mirror report that Wolves will sanction a £1.5million move to land Weimann this summer, with the clause allegedly included in the initial loan move which took him to Molineux earlier this year.

It’s even added that new Derby boss Gary Rowett has no control over the deal, and can’t revoke Wolves’ permanent option even if he wanted to give Weimann a chance to fight for his Pride Park future.
After splashing the cash on the likes of Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa over the last year, Wolves may not be quite so extravagant in the transfer market this time around, but £1.5million on Weimann is still a decent outlay from Lambert’s men.
The move also means that Derby have taken a considerable loss on Weimann, having paid £2.75million (The Guardian) to sign him from Aston Villa in the summer of 2015.
