Celtic manager Neil Lennon reportedly wants Garry Parker back at Celtic Park.

According to The Scottish Sun, Garry Parker will not return to Celtic this summer.

The Daily Record claimed earlier this week that Celtic manager Neil Lennon was planning to bring back Parker to Celtic Park.

Lennon and Parker worked together at Celtic and Hibernian, and the report in The Daily Record claimed that the new Hoops’ boss was planning to bring the Englishman back to the Bhoys.

The Scottish Sun has now claimed that Parker will not return to Celtic, and that John Kennedy will continue in the role as the Glasgow giants’ assistant manager.

Celtic success

Celtic won the domestic treble yet again this season – their third in a row – and the Hoops will be pleased with how the 2018-19 campaign turned out for them.

The Bhoys, though, need to freshen up their squad in order to progress to the group stage of the Champions League and also keep ahead of bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers, who showed this season that they can challenge the Bhoys.
