Leeds United look likely to miss out to Brentford in the race for Norwich City winger Sergi Canos.
According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Brentford striker Scott Hogan’s expected move to West Ham United is bad news for Leeds United.
It is anticipated that West Ham will sign Hogan in the near future for over £10 million, which will enable Brentford to strengthen in the January transfer window.

The Bees are prepared to reinvest the windfall that they will receive for Hogan, and Norwich City winger Sergi Canos is said to be on their wishlist.
Canos is reportedly available for £2.5 million, after making a minimal impact at Norwich since moving last summer.

Garry Monk had been hoping to bring Canos to Elland Road, but Leeds were only prepared to make a loan move.
Monk is said to be a big fan of Canos, who has previously impressed at Championship level, but his budget is limited.
Leeds have already signed Pablo Hernandez and they are planning to complete a deal for Pontus Jansson, which will take up much of their transfer budget for the month ahead. The YEP do suggest that Leeds are still looking to bring in a striker, though.
