Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale could be heading to Manchester United, according to reports.

According to a report from the Mirror, Gareth Bale’s Real Madrid teammates believe that he will be joining Manchester United in the summer, with a £90 million deal being mooted.
The 28-year-old moved to the Santiago Bernabeu from Tottenham in the summer of 2013, for a then world record fee of £85.3 million, and despite racking up some impressive numbers, it could be argued that he has failed to live up to expectations in the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid have been linked with blockbuster summer moves for some of Europe’s best players, including the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Eden Hazard and Harry Kane, and quite where that would leave Bale remains to be seen.
The Mirror claim that the Welshman’s teammates believe that he will be off to Old Trafford in the summer, in a deal worth roughly £90 million.

Bale would be an exceptional signing for United, should the Red Devils bring him to the club in the summer, and he would provide them with that little bit of extra quality in the final third that they have sometimes lacked.
Whether the Welsh wizard will want to join United is debatable, however, what with Jose Mourinho being heavily criticised for the dull brand of football that he has implemented at Old Trafford over the past two seasons.
