Galatasaray and Leeds are renowned as bitter rivals.

French outlet Foot Mercato claim Turkish giants Galatasaray have been in contact with the agent of former Leeds United striker Souleymane Doukara ahead of the January transfer window.
Doukara, 27, left Leeds in the summer of 2017 to join Turkish side Osmanlispor. He managed five goals in 19 games before quickly jumping ship to Antalyaspor, where he has remained since.
The versatile forward has seemingly found his home, scoring 12 goals and creating eight more in his 26 outings for the SuperLig side. This season, he has one goal every two games with six in 12.
It may seem unsurprising, then, that Doukara is being linked with another move. But the striker is at risk of receiving huge backlash from Leeds United fans, with Galatasaray said to be interested.
Leeds and Gala are bitter enemies after Whites fans Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight were stabbed before the 2000 UEFA Cup semi-final between the two sides.

Harry Kewell joined Galatasaray after a stint with Liverpool following his Leeds spell, and fans were outraged and still describe him as ‘Judas’ to this day. Doukara may have to consider his Leeds past, when talking to Gala.
Signed by controversial chairman Massimo Cellino in the summer of 2014, Doukara went on to play 93 times for Leeds in all competitions. He scored 18 goals, including a wonder goal against Nottingham Forest in his last season.
