The Turkish side had been linked with the Dutchman this summer.
Nottingham Forest’s Lars Veldwijk (R)
Reports in Turkey today are reporting that Galatasaray have been informed that Dutch striker Lars Veldwijk of Nottingham Forest is not for sale.
Acunn report that Gala have been knocked back in their approach for the player.
Fotomac reported this week that Gala had made a bid for the Dutch striker.
They claimed Galatasaray offered Forest a deal worth €1.25 million (£1.1 million) for his services and gave them two days to respond to the offer.
Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier
Two days on and it appears they have their answer.
Forest boss Philippe Montanier told his press conference earlier this week that he knew nothing of an apparent bid for his Dutch striker. It appears that, even if a bid was known to Montanier, Veldwijk is not heading to Turkey.
Veldwijk recently scored his first goal for Forest since joining the club from Excelsior in the summer of 2014.
After a poor first season at the club he went on to depart Forest for Zwolle last summer and went on to perform well in the Dutch Eredivisie – scoring 14 goals in 35 appearances for the club.
