Gaetano Berardi will return to full Leeds United training this week, according to a report.
It has been reported that Berardi, who can operate as a right-back or as a left-back, will start full training on Thursday.
The 28-year-old missed Leeds’s pre-season friendly match against Spanish club Eibar on Sunday after picking up a knock in training.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, the Swiss defender will return to full training at Thorp Arch on Thursday.

Berardi has been on the books of Leeds since 2014 and has established himself as an important player for the West Yorkshire outfit.
The Swiss full-back started 24 games and made two substitute appearances for Leeds in the Championship last season.

Meanwhile, Werder Bremen player Fin Bartels has given his take on the transfer of Felix Wiedwald to Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old German goalkeeper joined Leeds from German club Bremen earlier in the summer transfer window.
Bartels, who is 30 years of age and can operate as a midfielder or as a striker, has admitted that the departure of Wiedwald has been quite unfortunate.
“Yes definitely,” Bartels told Sport.de when asked if he was surprised about Wiedwaild leaving Bremen for Leeds, as translated by Sport Witness.
“I find his departure very unfortunate – especially for personal reasons. It is always unfortunate when a friend leaves the club. But this is just football business.”
