Leeds United defender Gaetano Berardi is set to miss this weekend’s clash with Rotherham United.

Berardi hobbled off during Leeds under-23 side’s clash earlier this week, and there were fears that he could be out for weeks again.
Berardi has only just returned to training after damaging his hamstring earlier this season, and his frustration was clear after he picked up another problem on Monday.
However, scans have shown that Berardi and Marcelo Bielsa have nothing to fear.

Berardi’s recent issue is of little concern and although it will keep him out of Leeds’ match against Rotherham United this weekend, the problem is only minor.
The news comes as a major boost to Leeds, as Bielsa’s side are already struggling badly with injuries, with a number of first-team players on the treatment table.
The Whites lost their last match 2-1 against Stoke City and will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday.
