Gaetano Berardi could play in Leeds United’s under-23 side’s next match.

The international break has not come at a bad time for Leeds, as it enables them to get some of their key players off the treatment table.
Leeds have been without a number of first-team starters in recent weeks, but Berardi could be involved in a fortnight’s time.
The full-back is expected to play in Leeds under-23’s next match, which will mean he is in contention to play for Marcelo Bielsa’s side against Blackburn Rovers.

Bielsa insists that Leeds players represent the under-23’s before he puts them back into the starting line-up, to ensure that they are match sharp, before they return to the first-team.
Berardi’s return comes at a good time for Leeds too, as Luke Ayling is currently out with suspension.
It is not all great news on the injury front for the Whites though, as Barry Douglas could be missing for their trip to Blackburn, after he picked up an injury.
