According to L’Equipe and Made in Dogues, Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes is set to pick a move to Napoli over Arsenal or Everton.
It’s claimed that Gabriel has five offers on the table, and two of them are from Arsenal and Everton.
Despite those offers to move to the Premier League, Gabriel is instead set to pick Napoli in what would be a huge double deal.
Napoli are set to sign Lille striker Victor Osimhen, and Gabriel looks set to follow him to Italy whilst snubbing Arsenal and Everton.
Everton have been pursuing Gabriel for some time now. Rumours have surrounded the Brazilian heading to Merseyside since January, and The Guardian noted last week that Everton had made progress in their attempts to sign him.
Arsenal links have been intermittent this year, with Mikel Arteta needing a left-footed centre back to build his defence.

Sead Kolasinac has filled that role recently, but with Pablo Mari out injured, Gabriel could have been an option in that area.
It now looks like Gabriel will instead head over to Italy, leaving both Arsenal and Everton to go back to the drawing board in search of a new centre back.
