Gabby Agbonlahor left Aston Villa this summer.

It has been reported that Agbonlahor is not in a rush to move to a club outside of England and does not want to go down to the lower leagues.
Due to Villa’s FFP issues, manager Steve Bruce could be forced to bring back the 31-year-old, despite the Championship club having already released the striker following the end of his contract this summer, according to the report.

Dire situation
Agbonlahor’s performances for Villa in recent seasons have not been great, and there was no surprise to see the Villans letting him leave.
If the striker is recalled to the club and is given a new deal, then it will only highlight just how bad the situation is at Villa Park at the moment.

Moving on
While Agbonlahor may be available, Villa should not pursue him and should give chances to young players instead.
If the Villans have to sell their best players in the summer transfer window, then they should look for academy graduates to give chances to.
