Fulham are reportedly interested in securing the services of Asamoah Gyan.

According to reports from Sky Sports, Fulham are currently considering a move for former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan.
Fulham have made a very positive start to the current Championship campaign and on the basis of the Cottagers’ performances so far, they could well prove to be dark horses to earn promotion into the Premier League this season.
That being said, there is evidently a long way to go before Fulham can start thinking about such lofty aspirations and the London side perhaps need to further strengthen their squad in order to indeed mount a genuine promotion bid.
Recruiting an attacking player seems to be a priority for manager Slavisa Jokanovic for the end of the transfer window and now according to reports from Sky Sports, Fulham are currently planning a swoop for Shanghai SIPG star Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan was the marquee signing of Shanghai last season but the striker has found playing time at the club limited during the current campaign following the arrival of another star player in the form of Hulk.
As a result, it is widely believed that Gyan will be looking to leave China this summer and a move back to Europe has been seen as a possibility for the attacker.
Sky Sports have now gone on to claim that Fulham are one of the leading contenders to sign Gyan and that the player is also keen on joining the Cottagers.
However, a potential obstacle in the prospective transfer is the fact that Gyan currently rakes in around £227,000-per-week in Shanghai and Fulham will have to convince the Ghanaian international to accept a massive pay cut in order to complete the move.
