Fulham are reportedly looking to complete a deal for Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle after Serbia’s World Cup exit.

Fulham are ready to finalise a deal to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic from Newcastle United after the striker’s involvement at the 2018 World Cup came to an end, reports the Times.

Mitrovic has been away in Russia representing Serbia, playing in all three group games and scoring against Switzerland as the nation were knocked out of the tournament.

With international duty now over for the 23-year-old this summer, the Whites can finally make his switch to Craven Cottage permanent after impressing on loan in latter half of last season.
