Clinton N’Jie could make a shock Premier League return this month.

According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are the latest Premier League club to join the race for Marseille forward Clinton N’Jie’s signature this month.
N’Jie, 25, may be familiar to some fans having signed for Tottenham Hotspur in 2015, after showing some promise with Lyon.
The Cameroon international flopped at White Hart Lane, playing just 14 games for Spurs and failing to score a single goal before heading back to France.
N’Jie loaned Marseille on loan for the 2016-17 season, and then made that move permanent, scoring nine goals in all competitions last season.
He has found first-team football a little harder to come by this term though, starting just two Ligue 1 games and scoring only one goal in a difficult campaign.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Fulham are joining the race to sign N’Jie, battling Burnley, Cardiff City and Newcastle United for his signature in a four-team battle.

Newcastle are under pressure to make signings this month as it is, and N’Jie could provide some pace in Rafael Benitez’s attack.
Yet with another team now in the race in Fulham, the Magpies’ hopes are under threat, and they will have to work hard if they are to win the battle for N’Jie’s services.
