According to a report from Spanish media outlet AS, Premier League new-boys Fulham are interested in signing Getafe winger Amath Ndiaye Diedhiou, with Slaviša Jokanović thought to be keen on bolstering his wide attacking options.

The 21-year-old joined Getafe from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2017, and went on to chalk up three goals and three assists in 37 La Liga outings last season.

Spanish publication AS claim that Fulham are prepared to pay £10 million in order to bring the lively winger to Craven Cottage this summer, and in today’s day and age, that would actually represent decent value.

Good signing for the Cottagers?

The 21-year-old is obviously still very young, and has plenty of work to do if he is to go on and become a top level player, but he certainly has the potential to do just that.

Diedhiou possesses pace in abundance, and plays with a certain type of directness that would provide Fulham with something entirely different to what they currently have.

He can also play anywhere along the front-line, and that versatility might prove to be crucial to the west London outfit in the Premier League next season.

Bringing the Getafe winger to the Premier League would be risky for Fulham, however, considering the step up in both quality and intensity, but for £10 million, it might just be a risk worth taking for the Cottagers.
