Fulham are reportedly keen on luring the Manchester United full-back to Craven Cottage.

Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian is a target for Premier League strugglers Fulham, according to a report from Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web.
The 28-year-old joined the Red Devils from Torino in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £12.7 million, but he has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Old Trafford, making just 46 Premier League starts.
Darmian’s contract with United expires in the summer of 2019, so he could be available for a cut-price fee in January.
And according to Italian publication Tutto Mercato Web, Fulham have shown interest in signing the Italian in recent days.

The obvious link to the Cottagers is that Claudio Ranieri will know Darmian well from his time managing in in Italy, and one area where the 67-year-old will want to strengthen is his defensive department.
The Manchester United defender would be an excellent addition for Fulham, and his ability to play in either full-back position will surely appeal to Ranieri.
Whether Darmian would be keen to join a club deeply entrenched in a relegation battle, however, remains to be seen.
