According to The Daily Mail, Fulham have opened talks with Lyon over the signing of Joachim Andersen.
The report states that the Dane would prefer a move to the Premier League, and the Cottagers have asked about a potential loan deal for the centre-back.
Interestingly, Tottenham, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were keen on signing Andersen last summer according to Calcio Napoli 24.
However, they were quoted €40 million (£36.3 million) for his services.
The Daily Mail add that Scott Parker wants two new centre-backs before the window closes, and that there is also interest in Jean-Clair Todibo, Omar Colley and Timo Baumgartl.

If the ex-West Ham captain needs anything before today’s transfer deadline, it’s a defender.
The Fulham boss has watched his side concede 11 goals already this season in just four games, including four against Leeds and three against Aston Villa.
The Cottagers are looking incredibly leaky at the back, and shoring up the defence will be absolutely vital if they are to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.

Parker has been keen to address individual errors in his backline, which is perhaps why the likes of Todibo, Andersen, Colley and Baumgartl have been linked – if it is a personnel issue, then signing a few new faces should help ease the problem.
West London Sport quote Parker as saying: ‘It’s not about making a base; it’s just cutting out individual errors. You can get away with them mistakes in the Championship, you can’t in this division.
‘It’s just so unforgiving’.
