Aden Flint has been linked with a whole host of clubs this summer with Fulham the latest team reportedly tracking Bristol City’s talisman.

With almost constant speculation surrounding his future, few expected Aden Flint to still be a Bristol City player four games into the new Championship season.
Yet, with links to Sunderland, Birmingham City, Aston Villa and Leeds United growing rather cold in recent times, The Robins may be more hopeful than ever of keeping hold of their towering, talismanic centre-half.
However, with a week of the transfer window remaining, City are not in the clear just yet. Because West London Sport report that Fulham are eyeing a deal for the 27-year-old with manager Slavisa Jokanovic a big fan.

However, with Marcelo Djalo and Tomas Kalas already arriving at Craven Cottage to boost Fulham’s central defensive options this summer, the report adds that the club’s hierarchy are less keen on a move for Flint, who is unlikely to come cheap due to his importance to Bristol City.
The BBC reported earlier this month that The Robins had rejected a joint bid of £4 million for Flint and left-back Joe Bryan, who has also been the subject of intense speculation over the last month.

Flint, who scored 15 goals in the 2014/15 season to help Bristol City storm to the League One title, is seen as one of the most influential defenders in the Championship.
Without his leadership and willingness to put his body on the line, not to mention his penchant for crucial goals at the other end, it’s far from certain that City would still be in the second division this season.
