The Newcastle United loanee has hit the ground running for Fulham.

Fulham “face a scrap” with Aleksandar Mitrovic’s former club, Anderlecht, to sign the on-loan Newcastle United striker, according to the Daily Mirror [March 9th, page 56].
Mitrovic has hit the ground running a Fulham, scoring five goals in the first seven games of his temporary spell.
As a result, Newcastle have increased their asking price to £20 million, according to the Chronicle.
Is Fulham or Anderlecht the most likely destination for Mitrovic?
If the above is correct, it would surely rule Anderlecht – whose record signing, Nicolae Stanciu, cost little more than £7 million – out of the running for a permanent deal, and leave Fulham in the driving seat.

However, it is likely that they too will miss out – if they fail to gain promotion back to the Premier League.
This is Fulham’s fourth season outside of the top flight and therefore the last in which they are gifted parachute payments – although selling off key players such as Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon could help the Cottagers to raise funds.
Should Fulham meet Newcastle’s demands for Mitrovic?
