Fulham reportedly made contact with Liverpool over Simon Mignolet, but a deal seemingly looks unlikely.

Mignolet has been a decent servant for the Reds, though he has never quite been able to stamp his authority on a place in the side. BBC Sport reports that Liverpool spent £9 million on bringing him in from Sunderland in 2013 and he has since gone on to make 200 appearances for the side in all competitions.
However, the Mirror adds that Fulham are now fearing how much a potential move would cost, so it would appear that Slavisa Jokanovic’s side may perhaps not be the team to offer Mignolet a way out of Anfield this summer.

Fulham do need to strengthen their goalkeeper options following their promotion out of the Championship. David Button has left for Brighton, leaving Marcus Bettinelli as the only senior stopper available to Jokanovic.
That situation will surely change before they kick off their campaign against Crystal Palace next month, but it would appear that Mignolet will not be the man to come in as things stand.
