According to Kicker, Fulham are on the verge of securing a loan deal for RB Leipzig winger Ademola Lookman with the player in advanced talks with the London club.

The former Everton man has struggled to get going at Leipzig.

Lookman once looked like a potential superstar in the making during his early days at Everton, helping the Toffees defeat Manchester City 4-0 in 2017.

But since then the 22-year-old has had one setback after another.

Lookman is in need of a fresh start, and Fulham are seemingly willing to provide him with a route back to the Premier League as they eye a loan deal.

Sky Sports claim the Whites are in advanced talks to sign him.

And the latest from German editorial Kicker say a loan deal is on the verge of completion as Lookman was absent of Leipzig’s clash at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

Fulham are in need of extra creativity as they plot their Premier League survival.

Scott Parker’s side were toothless in their opening day 3-0 defeat at home to Arsenal, before losing their subsequent encounter at Leeds United 4-3.

After leaving Merseyside in a £22.5 million deal, Lookman has played just 300 minutes of league football; starting just once under Julian Nagelsmann at Leipzig.

The former Charlton Athletic man has something to prove, and Fulham could be the ideal destination with the winger likely to get plenty of opportunities to shine.
