Fulham already have a number of options in Ojo’s position, with Sone Aluko, Floyd Ayite, Neeskens Kebano and Ryan Sessegnon all capable of playing there.
However, HITC Sport understands that Aluko has emerged as a target for Fulham’s Championship rivals Reading, who are also being linked with a move for Cottagers goalkeeper David Button.
Newcastle, meanwhile, appear to be closing in on a deal to sign another winger, Jacob Murphy of Norwich City, for £12 million.
According to Sky Sports, Murphy has undergone a medical with the Magpies in Dublin this morning [Tuesday]. However, The Chronicle reported earlier this week that Newcastle’s pursuit of the Norwich player would not affect their interest in Ojo.
