According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are becoming very concerned about Oliver Skipp as he struggles to recover from a thigh injury.
What’s the story?
Well, the £25,000-a-week man hasn’t played since January 23rd, when Spurs suffered a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Skipp has unfortunately suffered a delay in his recovery, and those behind the scenes at Tottenham are said to be very concerned, according to the Daily Mail.
Medics are believed to be taking a ‘fluid’ approach to the 21-year-old’s injury, although no timeframe has been put on his return to action.
Eric Dier has also been struggling with an injury, and Tottenham’s medical team have experienced minor complications in identifying the severity of his muscular problem.
However, the England international is set to return to first-team training soon, and could be in contention to face Manchester City on Saturday.
Tottenham need Oliver Skipp back ASAP

The England Under-21 international has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign, making 28 appearances in all competitions.
Skipp has quickly become a key player in N17, as both Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte have taken a shine to him.
Spurs are light on numbers in midfield, so the fact Skipp’s recovery isn’t going smoothly should be a real concern for everyone associated with Tottenham.

With Manchester City up next, the north Londoners could get torn apart if Conte doesn’t find a solution to his midfield crisis.
Hopefully, the Tottenham academy graduate returns to action as soon as possible, as his development will stall whilst he’s missing through injury.
