Frank Lampard’s Everton are about to sign Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, according to RMC Sport.
RMC Sport reported at 3:34pm UK time on August 29, 2022 that Gueye will undergo a medical at Everton in the following 48 hours.
Defending Ligue 1 champions PSG and Premier League outfit Everton have reached an agreement in principle over a permanent deal for the 32-year-old Senegal international defensive midfielder, who earns £99,000-a-week (SalarySport) as salary at the moment.
PSG’s Idrissa Gueye would make Everton better
In our view, Idrissa Gueye would make Everton a better and stronger team in the middle of the park.

The 32-year-old did well during his first spell at the Toffees, and it was his performances for the Merseyside club that saw PSG sign him in 2019.
Gueye has done well for PSG over the years, and despite being 32 now, he remains at the top of his game.
Described as “a machine” and “frightening” by his former Aston Villa teammate Micah Richards in The Daily Mail earlier this month, the midfielder knows the Premier League and would be able to make an immediate impact at Goodison Park.
Gueye scored three goals and created three big chances in 134 appearances in the Premier League.
