The Arsenal ace has just five months remaining on his current deal at the Emirates.

According to German media outlet Bild, Mesut Ozil has agreed a new deal at Arsenal, after having been impressed with some of the signings made by Arsene Wenger this month.
Alexis Sanchez left the Emirates for Manchester United last week, but Wenger brought in Henrikh Mkhitaryan in exchange.
The Gunners also seem to be on the verge of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Bourussia Dortmund, in a move that would see them shatter their transfer record.

Bild claim that Ozil is seriously impressed with his side’s transfer activity, and has committed his future to Arsenal.
The 29-year-old joined the Gunners from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, and despite receiving criticism for his perceived lack of effort, he has showcased his incredible talent on a regular basis.

He has chalked up 36 goals and 64 assists in 182 appearances for Arsenal, and keeping hold of him could prove to be vitally important to the Gunners’ chances of achieving success in the coming years.
And according to Bild, the German looks like he will be staying in north London for the foreseeable future.
