Arsenal have been tracking the Borussia Dortmund ace over the past few weeks.

There has been a potential twist in the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saga today, with Sky Sports Germany claiming that Borussia Dortmund chiefs are trying to push the striker into leaving the club for Arsenal.
The Gabon international would surely bring an added level of quality to Arsenal’s front-line, but the north London outfit will have to match Dortmund’s asking price for him, thought to be in the region fo €70 million (£61.4 million).

Sky Sports Germany have reported a fresh twist in the transfer saga today, however, claiming that it is in fact the Bundesliga side who are desperate for the deal to go through, rather than Arsenal.

That could mean that the Gunners end up getting their man for a reduced price, and with just four days remaining until the transfer window slams shut, this one looks like it will go down to the wire.
Arsenal are notorious for playing hardball when it comes to transfer dealings, however, so it will be like a high stakes poker game.
It’s just a case of who will blink first.
