According to the Guardian, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have tabled a £25 million bid to sign Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin this summer.
The report claims that PSG have also offered an additional £5 million in add-ons to help convince the Gunners to sell their defender. Bellerin has been at the Emirates for nine years now.
The 25-year-old has had his fair share of problems due to injuries but when fit, he can be one of the best right-backs in the league.
The report claims that Mikel Arteta wants to keep Bellerin this summer. However, he would be open to letting him leave for the right price in order to raise funds to complete moves for his other targets.
PSG are undisputed kings in France but they once again failed in their pursuit of the Champions League. Thomas Tuchel’s side came ever so close but Bayern Munich proved to be too strong in the final.
The French champions now have to dust themselves off and try their luck in Europe’s elite competition next season. They have already completed the signing of Mauro Icardi on a permanent deal from Inter Milan while there have been whispers over a potential deal for a certain Lionel Messi.

Bellerin definitely wouldn’t make the same kind of noise as some of PSG’s other signings over the years but he would still be an excellent addition.
Arsenal are in a position where they could well move him on this summer. Cedric Soares was brought in in January while Ainsley Maitland-Niles seems to have changed the club’s mind after his recent performances.
Bellerin certainly isn’t a must-have for Arsenal anymore but considering that his contract doesn’t end for another three years, the Gunners might look for a lot more than just £25 million this summer.
