Ex-Rangers man Lang left Ibrox in the summer.

Former Rangers defender Tom Lang is set to join Dundee United on trial, according to the Scottish Sun.
Lang has been without a club since leaving Ibrox in the summer, despite undergoing auditions at English pair Southend United and Barnsley.
However, the former Scotland youth international will return north of the border in view to winning a deal with the Terrors.
Lang only arrived at Rangers in the summer of 2015 from Birmingham City and failed to make an appearance for Mark Warburton’s side.

In fact, the 19-year-old is still awaiting his first senior outing at any club and will hope to put an end to that at Tannadice.
Were Lang’s trial to prove successful, he would link up with another ex-Rangers man in Cammy Bell.

Bell, who spent three years at Ibrox, made headlines last month when he saved three penalties in one half of United’s league victory over Dunfermline.
Former Rangers pair Charlie Telfer and Blair Spittal are also on the books of Ray McKinnon’s side, who are currently fifth in the Championship.
