Former Anderlecht boss Fred Rutten and Lyon coach Genesio are expected to try and take over Premier League giants Newcastle if Rafa Benitez leaves.

Fred Rutten is keen to take over at Newcastle United this summer if Rafa Benitez decides against extending his contract, according to TEAMtalk.
Benitez is due to become a free agent at the end of this season if The Magpies cannot tie him down to a new deal and it is claimed that the Tyneside giants have been ‘inundated’ by offers from managers eyeing a job at one of the Premier League’s best supported clubs.
One of those, TEAMtalk claims, is Rutten.
The well-travelled 56-year-old left Belgian outfit Anderlecht earlier in April after winning just five of his 13 games in charge and would jump at the chance to take over at St James’ Park.

Dutchman Rutten has also worked with the likes of PSV, Vitesse, Schalke and Feyenoord while also having spells at Al Shabab and Maccabi Haifa recently.
TEAMtalk adds that Bruno Genesio would also love to take over at Newcastle if given the opportunity. The Frenchman will leave Lyon this summer after they were knocked out in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, a huge disappointment that convinced president Jean-Michel Aulas to look for replacements.
