According to The Times, Frank Lampard and Kevin Thelwell are set to bring Conor Coady to Everton on a permanent basis from Wolves.

Back in August, Wolves surprisingly decided to let their club captain move to Goodison Park on loan, after Bruno Lage dropped the England international from his starting XI.
Coady has since transformed Everton into a formidable outfit alongside James Tarkowski in defence, helping the Toffees keep the best defensive record in the Premier League so far this season with just seven goals conceded.
The £62,000-a-week man has scored one goal and provided one assist in his seven appearances for Everton.
Now, the 29-year-old is set to stay on Merseyside, where he was born and raised.
The Times believe Everton hold an option to buy Coady for less than £10m at the end of the season, and Lage’s dismissal at Molineux will not complicate the agreement.
Lampard and Thelwell – Director of Football at Everton – worked alongside Bill Kenwright to sign robust players who are rarely injured, in a bid to turn the Toffees into a solid side.
It has certainly had the desired effect, as Everton are currently unbeaten in six Premier League games to go with their outstanding defensive record.

Yesterday, Jamie O’Hara claimed that Lampard “must be absolutely buzzing” to have Coady in his ranks.
In our view, the 44-year-old probably couldn’t believe his luck when Lage deemed the centre-back surplus to requirements in the Midlands.
Coady – despite the fact it feels as if he’s been playing forever – still hasn’t reached his thirties, while he is also an experienced England international with 473 career appearances to his name.
To get a player like him for less than £10m is simply remarkable business, to say the least – Everton must still be pinching themselves.
