Fiorentina are reportedly set to land free agent Franck Ribery.

According to Sky Italia, Fiorentina are set to secure the signing of free agent Franck Ribery amid recent links with Everton.
Ribery, 36, left Bayern Munich at the end of last season, with the Bundesliga champions allowing to walk away at the end of his contract after 12 years in Bavaria.
The Frenchman enjoyed a glittering career with Bayern, clinching nine league titles and one Champions League title during his time with the club, even becoming a Ballon d’Or finalist in 2013.
Ribery’s time with Bayern is up, and 90Min reported on Sunday that his agent has offered him to Everton in an attempt to secure a move to the Premier League.
However, it seems that Everton haven taken up that opportunity, as it’s claimed that Ribery is now heading to Florence to join Fiorentina.
A move to Italy should be interesting for Ribery, and there are worse places to finish up your career than Florence, and in an ironic twist of fate, he will seemingly replace an Everton player.

Fiorentina had Kevin Mirallas on loan last season, but chose not to pursue a permanent deal as they sent the Belgian back to Everton, where he remains unwanted.
Ribery will now arrive as a replacement winger for Fiorentina, killing off any chance of joining Everton whilst Mirallas sits around on the sidelines at Goodison Park.
