Everton target has reportedly told teammates that he expects to move to Goodison Park this month.

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has told his teammates that he expects to move to Everton imminently, according to the Sun.

The 27-year-old Frenchman has failed to impress Jose Mourinho this term, and is still yet to start a Premier League game for his side this season.

The Sun reported yesterday that United had rejected a £19 million bid from the Toffees for Schneiderlin.

And they are now reporting that the French international has told his colleagues that he expects to leave the club soon.

The box-to-box midfielder moved to Old Trafford from Southampton in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be in the region of £25 million, but has failed to live up to high expectations since his switch.

He is now entering the prime years of his career, however, and still has a lot to offer.

He possesses all the attributes that the Toffees currently lack, and a change of scenery could be just what Schneiderlin needs to breath life back into his flagging career.

He would be the ideal signing for Everton, should a move come to fruition.
