According to Sky Sports, Sheffield United star John Lundstram could be heading out of Bramall Lane this summer.
The 26-year-old midfielder, much like many of his teammates, has been a massive success story in the Premier League this season. Lundstram scored five goals and provided three assists in the league this term, but it looks like his future could lie elsewhere.
The Englishman has entered the final year of his contract and it seems unlikely now that the Blades can tie him down to a new deal.
The Examiner claimed a few weeks ago that Lundstram had been in contract talks with Sheffield United for eight months, but no agreement had been reached.
The midfielder could easily have been a free-agent now. Lundstram’s original contract was set to expire this summer but the Blades used their option to extend his deal by 12 months to protect his value.
It now looks like he is set for a move away and the Blades are likely to grant his wish to avoid losing him for free at the end of next season.

Sky Sports claim that there are four Premier League clubs interested in signing the 26-year-old who has had a very impressive campaign for the Blades this term.
Lundstram would be a solid signing for most clubs in the league. The Blades midfielder will bring in a ton of experience having played over 300 games across the top four divisions of English football.
In an ideal world, Chris Wilder would love to keep hold of his star midfielder. However, a move away seems the most logical option this summer and if the report is to believed, one English club will land him for a bargain fee in the coming weeks.
