Sunderland could be open to doing business over a few of their youngsters, as they look to get them more first-team experience.

According to the Sunderland Echo, Sunderland could allow Jake Hackett, Jack Bainbridge, Ruben Sammut and Jack Diamond to leave on loan today.

Sunderland are eager to get some of their youngsters more first-team experience, as they look to aid their development.

Hackett, Bainbridge, Sammutt and Diamond could now be loaned out, but it is very much a case of first come first served for potential buying clubs.

Sunderland do not want to weaken their squad too much, so all four won’t go today.

Instead, Sunderland want to keep some of the prospects around to ensure that they are around as cover, just in case an injury crisis strikes.

Bainbridge is arguably the closest of the youngsters to making a breakthrough at Sunderland.

Sunderland are unlikely to struggle to find suitors for any of the quartet, as non-league clubs or even potentially League Two sides could attempt to take them today.
