Leighton Clarkson, Rhys Williams, Jake Cain and Billy Koumetio are all set to be in Liverpool’s match day squad for their game against Midtjylland tonight, the Liverpool Echo report.
Liverpool have already sealed their progress to the next round of the Champions League after beating Ajax last week, and they are now expected to name a much changed line-up for the fixture.
Jurgen Klopp is set to give Liverpool’s top prospects some game time in their first-team and the Echo repots that Clarkson, Williams, Cain and Koumetio could be the main beneficiaries of that.
Williams may actually be getting used to playing Champions League football now, as the central defender has been used frequently in the competition this term.
For Clarkson, Cain and Koumetio the experience could be really special, though.
Koumetio, in particular, has excited many around Liverpool, with most expecting big things of the 18-year-old.

The central defender, who is yet to make debut, was part of Liverpool’s pre-season tour and he impressed Klopp back then with his performances.
“Billy the Kid – he doesn’t look like a kid!” Klopp said to Liverpool’s official website over the summer. “His face looks like a kid but then all the rest is ‘wow!’”
And all eyes will be on the young players tonight, if they are given their first opportunities on the European stage.
